I

I voted in every election. 

I have paid taxes most of my life.

I have given money to the needy over the years.

My family members have participated in every war since the Civil War. 

I raised my children to become responsible and sensitive to others.

I took care of my son and my mother when they were dying.

Now I am retired, living on one small income.

I am in reasonably good health, but I worry about how I will pay the co-pays and out of pocket expenses when I'm not.  I do not go to the doctor when I should.

I see the middle-class people and poor, disabled, and elderly struggling every day.  I see people lined up at churches waiting for a small monthly amount of food from the food bank.  Not enough food for a month, but maybe a week.

I see elderly, sickly people in front of me in the grocery line paying for whatever tiny amount of food they can get from their 16.00 food stamp allotment,  which seems to be the standard amount for a single person.

I see people sleeping on the streets, in parks, under bridges, anywhere they can find a place, IN OUR NATION’S CAPITOL.   

I know and have known people whose only meal every day during the week comes from Meals On Wheels.

I know young children whose only meal is the free lunch or breakfast they get at school.

I watch TV and read how our President steals over 3 million dollars from taxpayers every time he plays golf.

I know that Melania Trump’s refusal to live in the White House is costing taxpayers about  300 million dollars over a year’s period of time.

I read about the ridiculous tax breaks being given to corporations and millionaire businessmen on the backs of the middle class and poor people.

I’m watching our country being destroyed, bit by bit, laws established to protect people's environment, and health and safety are being dismantled.

I am angrily watching as the choice for women to control their health and bodies are destroyed. 

I watched in disgust as Native Americans were beaten, shot, sprayed with fire hoses in freezing cold weather were stripped of their rights to protect their land and water and sacred burial grounds.

I cried when a raid you ordered but planned poorly cost a young Navy Seal his life.

I cried when you showed his grief-stricken wife off during your speech like she was a prize.  You took advantage of her grief.

I laugh at you every time you send out a moronic Tweet.

I do not believe that you legally won your election, and you should be removed.  You are an embarrassment to our country.

I believe that every horrific act you are committing will be undone, and laws will be established to prevent an unqualified person from running for President of the United States.

I know that with all of your money and greed and power trip ego maniac decisions that the absolute lowest things you have done are taking away Grandma’s Meals On Wheels, proposing an absolutely bizarre health care act, and taking away any benefit or lowering it for any elderly, disabled, chronically ill and disabled persons.

And I know it may take a little while, but KARMA IS COMING FOR YOU.  The true Patriots of this country, the ones smart enough to defend it from you, Trump, we are coming, and we are going to take it all back.  We will have a strong country, without a wall, and strong because we stand together against people like you and your Cabinet of Deplorables.

I RESIST YOU.  YOU WILL NOT WIN.
